How can I watch the 2025 Champions League Final?

Champions League on Virgin Media

Once again, like with the previous two, you can get TNT Sports added on to your existing Virgin TV package or added to a package that you are making. And once again, it is available on a 31-day rolling contract for a standard monthly cost of £18.

But right now, you can save big on the add-on, with Virgin Media offering the TNT Sports add-on for only £5 a month!

Can I stream the 2025 Champions League final?

In the past, the Champions League final has been shown live via YouTube as well as on TV. While it is unconfirmed whether that will be the case again as of yet, you can watch the final online via Discovery+.

Story of the 2024/25 Champions League

The latest Champions League campaign saw a revamped format for the group stage and it seemingly went down well with the vast majority.

The large group table with eight rounds for the first stage provided a different level of excitement and gave some teams who may not have had a chance to shine a platform to succeed. 

Teams such as Aston Villa had the opportunity to thrive, advancing automatically to the knockouts. Below them were European heavyweights such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus.

Following on from the conclusion of the group stage, the knockout phase play-offs again added another layer of competition, taking out some big threats, including AC Milan and Manchester City.

The rest of the competition played out the same way as usual, with the two-leg knockouts producing some memorable contests, none more so than Inter Milan’s triumph over Barcelona in their semi-final.

Who is playing in the 2025 Champions League final?

This year’s final will be a unique matchup in the Champions League as Inter Milan take on PSG.

It is unique as these two sides have never faced each other in the competition before. 

Inter’s path to the final saw them overcome some of Europe’s greatest and favourites for this year, including Bayern in the quarter-final in a closely matched two-leg affair, and then Barcelona in that instant classic mentioned earlier.

As for PSG, they heard the ‘farmers league’ claims and made sure the English sides knew what’s up, brushing aside Liverpool in the Round of 16, Aston Villa in the quarter-finals and Arsenal in the semi-finals.

The Champions League Final will be played on Saturday 31st May, with kick-off slated for 8pm.

This will be the first final played at Allianz Arena since the 2012 final which saw the venue's home side Bayern defeated by a plucky Chelsea side on penalties.
