Spending your winnings

A grand can go a long way if you spend it wisely. Of course, we’re not financial advisors, we’re not going to tell you how to spend it. But we can give you a couple of ideas.

How do 125 packs of 12 Duracell Plus AA Batteries sound? At £8 a pack on Amazon, that would easily take care of the missing batteries problem for good.

What about a shopping spree to get your warm clothes ready for the coming winter? It’s never too late to start planning for cold weather when you live in the UK.

Or maybe you want to watch every televised game of the Premier League this season. That will actually cost you a little bit over the £1000, as a subscription to Sky Sports, TNT Sport and Amazon Prime (the three providers of Premier League football in the UK) will cost around £1200 for the season. A bargain for all that sporting goodness.
