Barbie coming to digital platforms next week

Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that Barbie will be coming to digital platforms next week on Tuesday 12th September.

There were previous reports claiming that the hit movie would be going digital earlier this week, with most reports stating Tuesday 5th September as the release date.

However, Warner Bros. didn't confirm this date, and when it rolled around, instead of the movie being released, the company instead gave its true release date.

Barbie was the big hit of the summer this year, earning $1.38 billion worldwide at the box office and smashing many records in the process.

The Margot Robbie-led blockbuster has received rave reviews from critics and the public alike, and sales of the movie when it is released on digital are expected to be high.
