Black Panther: Wakanda Forever coming to Disney+

Despite only releasing in theatres in November, fans don't have long to wait...

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in theatres in November, but the Disney+ release date has now been confirmed.

Since releasing in cinemas, the Marvel movie has made over $820 million across the world, making a staggering $180 million in just its opening weekend.

But on 1st February, fans will be able to stream it on Disney+. The UK page has not confirmed the same date, but we can imagine it will be on the 1st or very soon after.

Director Ryan Coogler revealed that the original plans for the movie were different before Boseman's death in 2020, but was changed to focus on the aftermath of T'Challa's death, coming after the devastating passing of actor Chadwick Boseman.

Ryan Coogler told The New York Times, "It was absolutely nothing like what we made. It was, 'What are we going to do about the Blip?' It was going to be a father-son story."

"In the script, T’Challa was a dad who’d had this forced five-year absence from his son’s life."

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set for release on Disney+ on 1st February.
