Formula 1 returns at the Dutch Grand Prix

The Formula 1 summer break is over and the paddock returns to racing in Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix.

A fitting return considering how the season has gone so far, with hometown hero Max Verstappen ready to continue his domination and wrap up his championship possibly (and probably) in record time.

While the final stretch of the season may not have anything on the line, there are still plenty of interesting races set to be contested, including the brand-new Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.

Rick & Morty season 7 release date confirmed

Following the teaser video released last week, season seven of Rick & Morty has been given an official release date.

The show’s official social media accounts dropped a Bad Boys-inspired poster Rick, Morty and Summer on it. In the caption, they wrote:

“We ride together. We die together. We’re buried in the backyard together. Rick and Morty Season 7 is coming to @AdultSwim 10/15 #rickandmorty”

For literally everywhere else in the world but America, that date means it will be coming on 15th October.

There is still a wait for an official trailer, though, which is what many are waiting for the most to find out how different the titular characters will sound now that co-creator and voice actor Justin Roiland is no longer part of the show.

Manchester United reject record bid for Earps

Mary Earps playing for Manchester United.

Mary Earps is sticking with United.

Manchester United Women have turned down a world record bid for goalkeeper Mary Earps from an unnamed club.

Earps has one year left on her contract, but United have no intention of letting her go and will be looking to sort out an extension soon.

The England number one showed her quality during the World Cup, playing in all seven games and winning the Golden Glove for her efforts.

She was signed from Wolfsburg in 2019 and has played in every United game since her move. This year, she won the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award for the first time in her career.

Fallout TV show details revealed

Prime Video has released the first poster for their upcoming Fallout TV show and teased a 2024 release window for the series too.

The show, based upon the popular video game series of the same name, will take place in an alternate America where nuclear fallout has left the land above a wasteland stuck in the 1950s.

Chosen individuals were invited to be housed in vaults by a company called ‘Vault Tec’ and will be the new humans when they emerge in the future.

The series will take place in Vault 33 based in Los Angeles. Not many more details have been released yet despite filming reportedly having been wrapped in March.

WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has died suddenly at age 36.
