New trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Disney+ series

The upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians series on Disney Plus has been given a new trailer to show off more of what’s to expect.

This will be the latest adaptation of author Rick Riordan’s works, following but not a continuation of the movies from 10 years ago.

Based on the book series of the same name, the series will follow the story of 12-year-old Percy Jackson as he discovers his heritage as the son of Poseidon.

Adventure awaits this live-action series, bringing to life much of Greek mythology including Zeus, a minotaur and WWE Superstar Edge (maybe not so much Greek mythology for that last one but he’s in the trailer).

The 90-second trailer gives an overview of what’s to come, and it certainly looks like one that should be on the list of everyone who has read the books or seen the previous movies.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians will begin streaming on Disney+ on 20th December.
