Harry Kane continues to light the German top-flight alight, scoring his 31st goal of the season to set a new record for the most goals scored in a Bundesliga debut season, previously held by Uwe Seeler for Hamburg in the 1963/64 season.

England’s all-time leading scorer bagged just the one goal on Saturday in Bayern’s 5-2 win over Darmstadt but it was enough to see him take on step closer to breaking the overal season scoring record.

It wasn’t all happy news unfortunately as he was taken off late in the game after twisting his ankle. Bayern confirmed he will join the England squad for the international break; however, it’s unclear whether he will feature against either Brazil on the 23rd or Belgium on the 26th.

Kung Fu Panda 4 stays on top the domestic box office

Kung Fu Panda 4’s pipped Dune: Part 2 to the top spot at the box office again this weekend, beating it by a narrow $900k in its second week compared to Dune’s third.

The newest instalment of the series made $30m this weekend, bringing its total domestic total to $107.7m. Internationally, it has earned $68.7m, but that is without it being released in some of the major worldwide markets, including in the UK or China, with the release dates for these countries coming over the next 14 days.

Dune: Part 2 has surpassed its predecessors' total with a third successive strong week, bringing in $29.1m domestically over the weekend. It has now totalled $205.3m domestically and $289.4m internationally, which sees its total sitting just shy of $500m (although if there were minute-by-minute figures, I’m sure it will have toppled that figure already).

Stunning Scheffler defends The Players title

World number one Scottie Scheffler showed once more why he is the best in the world right now with a stellar bogey-free 64 on the final day to finish on 20 under, winning by one shot to become the first player to defend their title at The Players.

It seemed as though the glory would go the way of either Xander Schauffelle or Wyndham Clarke at the start of the day, then thoughts went to 2023 Open champion Brian Harman as he crept his way to one back.

But at the end, all three failed to make birdie on the final hole to bring it to a playoff, securing Scheffler's second victory this season, just one week after his first at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Black Mirror Season 7 will bring sequel to beloved episode

Netflix’s Black Mirror will be returning for season 7 in 2025, and the streaming platform has left fans excited for a sequel to a popular episode.

The news of the next season was announced during its Next on Netflix event and later confirmed via a video on Twitter/X, which came with a cryptic caption that eludes to a sequel to season four’s USS Callister episode.

Black Mirror isn’t one for sequels, with each episode acting as its own standalone story, so fans are excitedly speculating what could be coming in the return to the storyline alongside the other five episodes in the newest season.

Alcaraz wins first title since Wimbledon

Carlos Alcaraz defended his Indian Wells title in dominant fashion, taking down 2024 Australian Open finalist Daniil Medvedev in straight sets.

The young Spaniard added to his growing silverware collection after a spell without a win that spanned back to his Wimbledon triumph over Novak Djokovic last July.

With this latest win, Alcaraz takes his total career titles tally up to 13, becoming just the second player to win five or more Masters 1000 titles before turning 21. The other player to do so - his idol and fellow countryman, Rafael Nadal.
