Vettel thinking about a return to F1

Sebastian Vettel has given hope to the idea of a return to Formula 1 after saying he is having thoughts about returning to the grid.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, the four-time World Champion described how he is thinking about making a return after it was revealed he has had discussions with Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff as well as other team principles.

Vettel's retirement followed the 2022 season but never fully seemed ready to close the book on that chapter of his career.

With Lewis Hamilton leaving Mercedes to join Ferrari at the end of the season, the German side is looking for a teammate for George Russell. While Vettel could be the answer, he has stated his return would “depend on the package,” essentially stating that he would only want to come back if it would be to compete at the front again.

Sam Raimi hoping to direct ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’

Spider-Man original trilogy series director Sam Raimi has revealed that while Marvel hasn’t asked him to direct Avengers: Secret Wars, he hopes they do.

Raimi recently worked with Marvel on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and, as mentioned, was the mind behind the beloved original Spider-Man trilogy from the early/mid-2000s.

Marvel is having a tough time with things as of late, with poor releases and even worse audience reception, and with Jonathan Majors being fired from his role as Kang the Conqueror, the future for the company is looking rather bleak.

A full rework and return for some well-loved faces from the past could help them get back on the right track, although we’ll have to wait and see if Raimi will be one of the returns to come.

De Zerbi and Nagelsmann top candidates for Bayern job

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann are said to be the top candidates for the Bayern Munich job when current manager Thomas Tuchel leaves following the conclusion of this season.

De Zerbi has earned many plaudits for his efforts with the Seagulls and has been linked with various other top jobs, including Liverpool and Manchester United.

His comments last week added fuel to the fire, refusing to commit to Brighton for next season, saying he wants to have talks with the club owner about his next steps.

As for Nagelsmann, a return to the job he was sacked from just last Summer is on the cards but not yet agreed. It is said that the German FA are looking to extend his contract as the national contract, although with Jurgen Klopp available from the end of the year and Bayern sniffing around Nagelsmann, it will be interesting to see what comes of it all.

First look at ‘The Bear’ Season 3

Serial award-winning comedy-drama The Bear has had a first look at its upcoming third season shared at a shareholder meeting.

The minute-long clip, which is not yet available to the public, is said to have given a taste of what’s to come, growing the story from season two while seemingly keeping its light-hearted yet gritty-at-times tone.

Season three is set to premiere sometime in June, with no official confirmation date yet set, while season four is already confirmed and said to have been filmed back-to-back with season three, meaning it may come as soon as early 2025.

What’s on this weekend

It’s a big weekend for sport, albeit a late and early one for us here in the UK. Let’s take a look at some of the bigger events that will be going down this weekend.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Sunday 7th | 3:30pm | Sky Sports Main Event & PL

The Premier League is coming towards its end, and with the title still very much in the balance, every game from Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal will be a must-watch.

Manchester United and Liverpool have a storied history, but while the two may seem worlds apart this season, you can never rule out a surprise result from this matchup.

F1 Japanese Grand Prix

Sunday 7th | 6am | Sky Sports F1 & Main Event

It’s another early race weekend as the grid heads to Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix.

If you don’t fancy waking up at 6am to watch the race live, don’t fret as Sky Sports will have the full race replay available at 10:30am.

WWE Wrestlemania 40

Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th | 12am (both nights) | TNT Sports Box Office

The biggest event in sports entertainment heads to the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia as Wrestlemania 40 has arrived.

This year is built up to be the biggest Wrestlemania to date, and with The Rock returning to in-ring action, we certainly can’t wait to see what’s in store on both nights.
